It’s a new week and we are wrapping up the month of October. We’re amped for a brand new week and you can hear it in the Arch as he gets on the mic more excited than ever.
My boy Ben, kicked us off with a prayer and we got straight into the usual – our news, sports headlines and the triple play that kicks off the show every day.
The Arch Bishop of radio and now the Arch Bae as well, took us through the newspapers, with more music to ease us through the first hour of the show.
Our #EMCM today is American-raised actor Antonio David Lyons and he was saying how starting younger in whatever it is you pursue, “your shelf life will last a bit longer”.
He moved to SA in 2003 from the States and then went back in 2014 to carry on with his education at a graduate school.
He’s here to promote his film, The Unseen, which will be screening at the Joburg Film Festival.
After we wrap up with our EMCM, we go into the last hour of the show which has become our Africa hour. We play a lot of music from various African countries and show love to our neighbouring brothers and sisters.
We’re also running a competition with Gumtree, with a whopping R 100 000 grand prize.
It’s been an easy morning but we’re definitely amped to bring you another amazing show tomorrow, from 6-9AM on VUMA FM in KZN and RISE FM in Mpumalanga.
It’s still 2 stations. 1 Man. 1 Mic. 1 Breakfast.
