Friday is here! The day the Arch Bishop of Radio, DJ Sbu drops his brand new single with Zahara & Rabs Vhafuwi called Ndingubani! He is broadcasting in Durban today and is hanging out with a Durban based comedian who goes by the name Siyanda Maphumulo, also known as Gonzo!

We normally have musical Fridays with less talk and more music with comedy and just fun, which we call hlanying on the show! Today is no different. We naturally open with a prayer, do the news bulletin, sports headlines, comedy then we drop the needle as we get straight to a #Gqom 2.0 mix by the Panache Boyz!

We get onto What Now with the newspaper headlines with Azizzar and check out what’s trending on twitter with Benjamin and obviously the hashtag #Ndingubani is sitting on top position as we been pushing it all morning.

After the bottom of the hour news and sports activities, we get onto traffic then DJ Sbu chats a bit to Gonzo the comedian who shares how he’s been writing a lot. He has been trying to quit writing on the toilet doors for a long time now but can’t stop. He seemed sincere and genuine about wanting to stop. The way he delivers his comedy is different and refreshing as it’s in an unusually serious tone but very funny.

Naima Kay visits the Durban, Vuma FM, studios and gives us a live performance of her material. She starts with a song she did with our very own Arch Bishop of Radio, DJ Sbu, called Ngiyabonga! She also gives us Lelilanga and finally gets into her brand new single called Thando. She has a beautiful voice, even if it’s still early, her voice is woke, just like she is.

We also host the Koze Kuse hit maker, Mondli Ngcobo who’s also visiting the Vuma Fm studios in Durban. He’s also a producer and has also worked with Naima Kay herself. He performs Koze Kuse and Ubugingqigingqi live on air!

Mr. X blesses us with a Kwaito mix which sets the studio and hopefully airwaves on fire! A combination of the late Brown Dash and Mandoza, alongside hits from the new Mkhul’Bae himself, Mdu Masilela with MaZola!

Closing off the show, we have a hot hip hop mix and cross over to Vanessa who’s broadcasting from the wedding that the Arch Bishop of Radio, DJ Sbu will be MCing. It’s been a fun-filled, high energy level show with nothing but the best music and flow.

We do it again next week Monday! This has been the #DJSbuBreakfast with Azizzar on news and Benjamin on sports, with your host, DJ Sbu!
