It’s another day and yet another opportunity to do this thing that we love called radio. Today is a chooseyTuesday and I’ve chosen to smile, keep calm and enjoy the honour that it is to wake up and be a part of this amazing movement called the #DJSbuBreakfast.

The Arch has been feeling under the weather for the past couple of days so he hasn’t been with us, but we have the more than capable Guluva, Mzolisto in with us again to hold it down in the absence of our favourite innovator DJ Sbu.

Tuesdays are all about entrepreneurship and today Zola spoke to renowned businesswoman Mosunmola ‘Mo’ Abudu who has been named by Forbes as Africa’s most successful woman. She’s the founder of EbonyLifeTV and also hosts a show called Moments with Mo.

She’s vibrant and passionate about women in positions of authority as well as the creation of content within the African continent, in addition to being an advocate of people chasing their dreams.

“You can’t have a dream and wake up to do nothing about it,” she said.

In the last hour of the show, entrepreneur and media and PR professional Maria McCloy comes in to discuss her range of African-inspired accessories and how she mixes her passion for the continent with her interest in fashion.

Zola also spoke to two semi-finalists for a competition that VUMA FM is running which will see the winning couple walking away with a white wedding.

Today’s business term(s) of the day were ‘postpone’ versus ‘cancel’. When you postpone a meeting, for instance, you arrange for it to take place at a time later than that first scheduled, while, when you cancel a meeting, you are announcing that it will no longer take place at all.

We cross over to Kede and Vanessa as per usual to wrap up the show – they tell us what it is they’ll be touching on in their respective shows, on RISE FM and VUMA FM, which take place from 9-12 every day.
